Manage connections and accounts
Activate accounts, name them, watch health, and handle disconnects.
After you connect a broker, you manage its accounts from the Connections page. This page covers activating accounts, naming them, watching health, and what happens when a connection drops.
Activate the accounts you want#
One connection can expose several accounts. You choose which ones Lune trades. Activate an account to include it in automations, copying, and the Cockpit. Deactivate one to leave it untouched.
Name and color your accounts#
Give each account an alias (a nickname) and a color. Aliases make it easy to tell a live account from a funded one, and colors help you read charts and tables at a glance.
Watch connection health#
Each connection shows a live status dot:
GreenConnectedOptionalHealthy session, receiving updates.
SpinningReconnectingOptionalRestoring the session after a drop.
RedDisconnectedOptionalCannot reach the broker right now.
When a connection drops, Lune pauses automations and copying for those accounts, then rebuilds your positions from the broker's live state before it resumes. Manual trading in the Cockpit is never paused by this.
When something looks wrong#
- A connection keeps dropping: see Broker keeps disconnecting.
- A position looks stale or already closed at the broker: use Untrack to remove it from Lune without sending an order. See Positions look wrong.
Untrack only removes a position from Lune's view. It does not close anything at your broker. Use it when the position is already flat at the broker.
