Connect Rithmic
Sign in with your Rithmic username, password, and system name.

Rithmic connects to Lune with your Rithmic login. You enter your username, password, and system name, and Lune validates them and finds your accounts. There is no API key and no separate sign-in flow.
What you need#
- Your Rithmic username and password. This is the login your prop firm or broker gave you.
- Your system name. This is the Rithmic system you log into, such as "Rithmic Paper Trading", "TopstepTrader", or "Apex". Lune shows the list to pick from.
Note
Before your first connect, sign in to R Trader once and accept any required market data agreements. Rithmic blocks logins until those are signed.
Connect Rithmic#

Start the connection
In Lune, open Connections and choose Rithmic.

Enter your login
Type your username and password, then pick your system name from the list.

Validate
Lune opens a real Rithmic session to check your login and find your accounts. Rithmic returns your full account list.

Activate your accounts
Select the accounts you want to trade.
Good to know#
- Lune shows a curated list of known systems, so your firm appears even when it is not advertised on your network.
- Rithmic does not tell Lune whether an account is live or a simulator, so Lune does not label it. Treat the account as whatever your firm assigned it.
- Rithmic locks a login after several failed attempts, per credential, not per device. Lune limits how often it retries your login so it does not lock you out. If you do get locked out, resolve it with your prop firm.
