Connect NinjaTrader
NinjaTrader runs on the Tradovate connection, using the same one-click authorize flow.
NinjaTrader connects to Lune through the Tradovate platform. NinjaTrader and Tradovate share one login, so the steps are the same one-click authorize flow. There is nothing extra to install.
What you need#
- A NinjaTrader or Tradovate account (live or demo).
- Your login.
You do not paste an API key, and you do not run any desktop add-on for Lune. Lune connects in the cloud.
Connect NinjaTrader#
In Lune, open Connections and choose NinjaTrader.
Sign in and pick the environment your accounts are in. Live and demo are separate.
Approve access. You are sent back to Lune automatically.
Select the accounts you want to trade.
NinjaTrader runs on the Tradovate connection under the hood, so everything in the Tradovate guide applies here too. The only difference is the label.
Zero accounts found usually means the wrong environment. Retry and pick the other one (live or demo).
