Connect Tradovate
Link Tradovate with one click. You authorize on Tradovate, with no API key to paste.
Tradovate connects to Lune with a one-click authorize flow. You sign in on Tradovate's own site, approve access, and Lune links your accounts. You never paste an API key.
What you need#
- A Tradovate account (live or demo).
- Your Tradovate login.
That is it. Lune uses a secure sign-in flow, so there is no API key to buy or generate.
Connect Tradovate#
In Lune, open Connections and choose Tradovate.
Sign in on Tradovate and pick the environment your accounts are in. Live and demo are separate, so choose the one that matches your accounts.
Approve access on Tradovate. You are sent back to Lune automatically.
Lune lists the accounts it found. Select the ones you want to trade, and Lune connects them.
If Lune finds zero accounts, you almost always picked the wrong environment. Retry and choose the other one (live if you picked demo, or demo if you picked live).
Good to know#
- One Tradovate login can expose several accounts. They all come in under one connection.
- Lune refreshes your session for you, so you stay connected without signing in again.
- The generic "Tradovate API Access" add-on that some tools require does not apply here. Lune uses the authorize flow, so you do not need to buy API access or generate a key.
