A position looks wrong or was already closed at my broker
Use Untrack to clear a position from Lune when it is already flat at your broker.
Sometimes Lune shows a position that is already closed at your broker, or the size looks off after a disconnect. Untrack removes it from Lune's view so your workspace matches reality.
Untrack does not close anything at your broker. It only removes the position from Lune's tracking. Use it only when the position is already flat at the broker. If the position is still open, use Close instead, which sends a real broker order.
When to use Untrack#
Use Untrack when a position in Lune is a ghost, already closed at the broker but still listed here. This can happen if you flattened directly at the broker while Lune was briefly disconnected.
Do not use Untrack to close a live position. To exit a real open position, use Close, which submits an order to your broker.
Remove a stale position#
Check your broker platform and confirm the position is flat there. This is the step that makes Untrack safe.
Find the position in the Cockpit, Trade Copier, or Auto Trader table, then choose Untrack. Lune removes it from tracking without sending any order.
Lune rebuilds your positions from your broker's live state on every reconnect, so stale entries usually clear on their own once the connection is healthy again.
