Size each follower
Give every follower its own size with a multiplier.
Each follower can trade a different size from the leader. That is how one master account drives a small account and a large account at the same time. Copy sizing uses a per-follower multiplier, and you set it per follower.
Multiplier#
A multiplier scales the leader's size up or down for that follower. The follower trades the leader's size times its multiplier. It is the one control that sets how many contracts the follower trades.
1.0MatchOptionalThe follower trades the same size as the leader. If the leader buys 4 contracts, the follower buys 4.
0.5HalfOptionalThe follower trades half the leader's size. A leader order of 4 contracts becomes 2.
2.0DoubleOptionalThe follower trades twice the leader's size. A leader order of 4 contracts becomes 8.
Futures trade in whole contracts, so Lune rounds to whole numbers and never sends a fractional order.
Trade a different contract on a follower#
When a follower account trades a different contract than the leader, use Custom contract mappings, a group setting. It pairs a leader contract with the follower contract you want, such as ES to MES or NQ to MNQ. A mapping can also route across brokers.
A mapping is a pure contract swap. It changes the contract, not the size. Your multiplier alone governs how many contracts the follower trades. If you map ES to MES at 1.0, the follower trades the same number of contracts, now in the micro. Set the multiplier yourself to get the exposure you want.
For same-root micro and mini pairs, you can also let the group convert tiers for you with Auto mini/micro conversions. See Advanced group settings.
Pick the right tool#
- Same instrument, different account size: set a Multiplier.
- The follower account trades a different contract than the leader: add a Custom contract mapping, then set the multiplier for size.
