A copy group is one leader and its followers. This page walks through building one from scratch. Before you start, connect the accounts you want in the group. See How connections work.

Build the group#

1
Name the group

Open Trade Copier and create a group. Give it a clear name, such as "My Prop Accounts", so you can tell your groups apart later.

2
Pick the leader

Choose one account as the leader, the master that every follower mirrors. A group has exactly one leader.

3
Select followers

Check the accounts that follow the leader. Add up to 200 followers per group.

4
Set each follower's size

By default a follower matches the leader one for one. Change the multiplier per account so each follower trades the right amount. See Size each follower.

5
Turn the group on

Enable the group. From now on, the leader's fills mirror to every enabled follower.

Good to know#

  • The leader is not a follower. It trades on its own, and the copier mirrors it outward.
  • You can enable or disable the whole group at any time. Disabling stops new copy activity but does not close open positions.
  • Add or remove followers whenever you need to. Changes apply to the next leader trade, not to positions already open.
Note

An account can be a follower in only one active group at a time. This keeps two groups from sending conflicting orders to the same account.
