Tags and playbooks
Tag trades, add notes, group by playbook, and recalculate historical trades.
Tags, notes, and playbooks let you add your own context to a trade, so your journal captures why you traded, not just what filled. You can also fix historical trades so their P&L is correct.
Tag and note a trade#
Open any completed trade to tag it and write a note. Tags are short labels you reuse, like "Mistake" or "Setup A". Notes are free text for anything the numbers do not capture.
TagsReusable labelsOptionalMark a trade with one or more labels, then filter your journal by them.
NotesFree-form textOptionalWrite what you saw, what you did, and what you would change.
Keep your tag list short and consistent. A handful of labels you use every time is far more useful than dozens you use once.
Group trades by playbook#
Categorize trades by playbook or setup type to review how each of your setups performs over time. Tag each trade with the setup you traded, then look at the group as a whole to see which setups earn and which do not.
Backfill and recalculate history#
You can bring in historical trades and recalculate their P&L with the correct contract specs. This matters when an older trade was recorded before Lune had the right specs for that contract, so its P&L reads wrong.
Import past trades so your journal covers your full record, not just trades since you joined.
Rerun the P&L with the correct contract specs, so every trade values its ticks the right way.
After a recalculation, your stats and calendar update to match the corrected numbers.
