The Trading Journal turns your completed trades into stats and a calendar view, so you can see how your trading holds up over days and weeks.

The core stats#

Lune computes these from your completed trades. Only trades with an exit and a final P&L count, so the numbers match what actually closed.

Win ratePercent of trades that wonOptional

The share of your closed trades that ended in a profit.

Profit factorGross profit vs gross lossOptional

Your total winning P&L divided by your total losing P&L. Above 1 means your wins outweigh your losses.

Average win / lossMean P&L per sideOptional

The average size of a winning trade and the average size of a losing trade.

Note

Stats read from completed trades only. A position you have not closed yet does not move these numbers. See The Trading Journal.

The calendar heatmap#

The calendar view lays your trading out day by day, with a daily P&L heatmap. Each day is shaded by how it finished, so a green and red pattern shows your run of days at a glance. Click into a day to review the trades behind it.

Use the calendar to spot patterns across time: your best and worst days of the week, streaks, and days you traded more than usual.

Tip

A day looks off? Open it and check the trades. If an older trade shows the wrong P&L, recalculate it with the right contract specs. See Tags and playbooks.
