Change your payment method
Update the card or funding source Lune charges for your subscription, right from your dashboard.
Update the card or account Lune charges, without cancelling your subscription. Where you make the change depends on how you pay: Stripe (card) or PayPal.
Your billing lives in one place. In Lune, open Settings, then the Billing tab. Your current plan, payment status, and billing actions all sit here.
You have one active subscription per account. All your products bill together on that single subscription, so you keep one payment method for everything.
Update a card (Stripe)#
If you pay by card, Lune uses Stripe to manage it. You change your card in the secure Stripe billing portal.
Go to Settings, then Billing.
Select Update payment. Lune sends you to the Stripe billing portal, signed in for your account.
Add a new card and set it as the default. Stripe uses the default card for your next charge.
Close the portal or return to Lune. Your billing page shows the updated status.
Update a funding source (PayPal)#
If you pay with PayPal, your card and bank details live in your PayPal account, not in Lune. You change them on PayPal.
Sign in to PayPal and open Automatic payments in your account settings.
Select the Lune agreement in your list of automatic payments.
Pick the card or bank you want PayPal to use, then save.
See a Payment past due banner on your Billing page? Update your payment method first, then select Retry now to charge the new card or funding source right away.
A payment method controls real charges. Only add a card or account you own and control. If a payment fails and you do not fix it, your access can end when the billing period closes.
What does not change#
Updating your payment method does not change your plan, price, or renewal date. Your products and settings stay the same. To change what you pay for, see Change or downgrade your plan.
